HOBART's Second Consecutive Award from German Verband der Fachplaner industrial Kitchen Planners' Association

A new award for HOBART: Germany's restaurant, hotel and institutional kitchen planners' association, VdF, chose the German warewashing manufacturer HOBART to receive its product innovation award for the second time at the association's October conference in Berlin. HOBART received the award, given in recognition for outstanding innovation in the field, at a gala evening to celebrate the association's 20th anniversary. 

A jury of 20 awarded HOBART for the company's intelligent wash system, SENSOTRONIC. This innovative technology – the first and only example of its type on the market – allows PREMAX FTP flight-type dishwashers to measure the amount of washware and detect gaps on the belt, automatically adjusting both speed and consumption to requirement. Substantial reductions in water, energy and detergent consumption – as well as carbon dioxide emissions – are the result. 

This is HOBART's second consecutive award from VdF; the company previously received the Dr. Georg Triebe Innovation Award – also in the product innovation category – for its innovative PREMAX technology in 2008. This new award emphasises the company's innovative power.
